October 4th 2019. Killeen vs Shoemaker with the final score being 28 to 52 Shoemaker. This game was probably one of the slowest and one sided games because of the amount of yellow flags, time outs, and player injuries that would happen each quarter. Starting the game I used ISO 400, F/stop 2.8 and shooting at 1/400 shutter speed.

The crowd was not very big and only a small part was really participating in the action. I can't blame them though because it minute their was a five minute break that broke the pace of the game.

The game started off well for Killeen as they scored within the first couple minutes taking the lead. This lead to some overconfidence in the team leading to their downfall. I quickly had to change to new settings as it started to get dark early. I used 2500 ISO, F/stop 2.8 and 1/400 shutter speed. I raised the ISO throughout the game to compensate for the bad field lighting.

After a good pep talk from the coaches, Shoemaker was really stepping it up to gain back the lead. The Killeen coaches were getting frustrated by the amount of mistakes they saw their team doing.

Half time brought a great showing from Shoemaker band and afterwards was a King and Queen coronation for Killeen's homecoming.

The drum line stepped in during the third quarter and played an amazing drill for the audience.

At the end of the game I had taken about 900 photos and saved only 31 to edit and post. The game was pretty boring and shots were very few and far apart because of the pace. I'm honestly not that happy with the way these photos turned out and I have a few ideas of how I would redo things but again it all depended on what the game itself had to offer.
